Gaush was founded in Beijing, initially operating as a distributor. By introducing premier international ophthalmic products—such as ophthalmic ultrasound diagnostic systems and OCT devices—into the Chinese market, Gaush brought global-standard technologies to a vast population of ophthalmic patients in China.
The company established a comprehensive technical service network covering the entirety of China. Concurrently, it launched "Gaush Online" (G-Webinar), creating a professional scientific education platform for the industry.
Gaush embarked on its path of proprietary research and development (R&D), expanding its business into the manufacturing of optometric examination equipment.
Gaush acquired Roland Consult in Germany, initiating its strategic global layout in the ophthalmic electrophysiology business.It also acquired Teleon Surgical in the Netherlands, expanding its global footprint into the premium cataract surgery and intraocular lens (IOL) sectors.
Gaush was successfully listed on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. Meanwhile, it established multiple R&D bases in China (including Wuxi), continuously bolstering its independent innovation and R&D capabilities.
